Ola Abdalsalam has attended Sudan University of Science and Technology where she received her B.Sc and M.Sc in Biomedical Engineering. She came to Notre Dame in 2017 to pursue a PhD in Bioengineering, and she is currently co-advised by Dr. Scott Howard and Dr. Tom O’Sullivan. Her research field is in diffuse optical imaging in the frequency domain. She is currently developing a phased based technique for multi-layers diffuse optical imaging
