Nick is a Bioengineering PhD candidate and is currently developing a frequency domain NIRS device used to detect hematomas. He is interested in translational research where medical innovation is moved out of the laboratory and into the hands of clinicians and patients who need it. Once he graduates, he hopes to secure a job in industry where he develops noninvasive brain computer interface technology that aims to restore limb functionality to those living with paralysis.
