At this year's SPIE Photonics West conference, Tom was invited to deliver a talk entitled "Quantitative deep tissue diffuse optical spectroscopy and imaging." In his talk, he discusses what diffuse optical spectroscopy (DOS) is and how it can be employed for biomedical imaging in a variety of ways. Additionally, he highlights our lab's efforts in advancing DOS imaging technologies.
