At this year's Optica Biophotonics Congress: Biomedical Optics conference, Shashi presented "Wearable Broad Bandwidth Frequency-Domain Near Infrared Spectroscopy (fd-NIRS)" to a room full of conference goers. In his speech, he discussed his development of a miniature dual-wavelength frequency domain NIRS device for wearable real-time physiological monitoring. Based on a custom CMOS circuit, his wearable device demonstrates accurate phase and amplitude measurements for modulation frequencies up to 300 MHz. Shashi did an excellent job in presenting his research and representing the lab. Congrats Shashi, keep up the fantastic work!
